After the announcement of the next Street Fighter installment, there was so much hype about the game. There even were tons of rumors and investigations from the fans. This ended in interesting leaks that revealed the full roast of characters, as well as random but short gameplay that made everybody flip their minds. This evidently went beyond expectations, it was the big deal, unannounced.
And now, Capcom had to face the consequences; either ignore what was going on or face the facts and make a statement. And so they did.
As residents of Metro City, we’ve all seen things we weren’t supposed to see, but we're all in this together. We appreciate all the positive reactions. Thank you for the support!

As a way to keep the fans close, Capcom actually thanked everyone for the support, instead of trying to deny it all, or even look for the people responsible for the leaks. Some fans are actually taking this as a joke, making assumptions about the statement. Some are now thinking that Capcom may have leaked the images on purpose. And that’s why the company has been so chill about it. It could be true, we’ll never know.
