Creative Assembly developers of Alien: Isolation have been working for a long time with SEGA to bring us a brand new multi-player shooter, but wait, seems like this one is not like any other FPS in the market.
Today the studio announced HYENAS a “multiplayer, multi-team robbery game”, where five teams of three face AI and each other to steal priceless pop culture loot. Easy peasy? Not really, in order to win you need to escape with all your stolen pieces.
Space Pirates!
HYENAS take place in space, on vast spaceships to be specific. All the rich people on Earth leave for mars; destroying Earth in the process and leaving those who remain in a “floating orbiting slum”. Our job is to attack the ships that the rich send to earth to collect “pop culture” treasures.
Are you interested? There is a couple of things you need to know; according to Creative Assembly, this title won’t be free to play, but you can sign up for an alpha program now.
Hyenas is expected for Xbox Series X|S , Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC in 2023.
