Not so long ago, we had a very brief and curious Nintendo Direct that exclusively focused on Xenoblade Chronicle 3. But this didn’t stop the fans' curiosity from expecting another event. As we already know, many rumors (none of them turning out to be confirmed) keep everyone looking forward to a Nintendo Direct. And from the looks of it, the latest one hints at another date for the anticipated event.
A new source has revealed that the upcoming and highly expected event could arrive next week. According to Nacho Requena, a Spanish reporter, the next Nintendo Direct will focus mainly on third-party games, although it would also make a big reveal or two. During a Twitch stream, Requena told a very solid rumor about an event programmed for June 28.
In previous streams, the Spanish reporter also shared a rumor about Persona arriving to Switch; now, he hints that the game could be mentioned at the upcoming event. Also, he added that an IP that has been available for four years now on other platforms is finally coming to Switch.
Tom Henderson, our official 'TMZ' on the gaming industry, also commented on these rumors through his Twitter account, making Requena’s declarations even stronger.
It sounds like there's a mini direct focusing on third part games - https://t.co/U9Iable9gC

What I was referring to here as "something then" is Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope gameplay reveal. https://t.co/qFWWhXZxrn
Hopefully, we will finally get the Nintendo Direct we have been waiting for. If this turns out to be true… see you on the 28th!
