Whenever something good comes out, there is always a problem: the scalpers. In this case, we will talk about Nintendo, which has released a new batch of the special edition of Xenoblade Chronicles 3, which made fans rush to get it. However, this also fell into the hands of resellers, and now they have placed it at prices exaggerated on resale sites.
The game can be seen on sales pages such as eBay at inflated prices of up to $300, although some directly put the game up for auction starting at $250.
It's a strange decision that Nintendo put the game up for sale exclusively on its store, but it looks like it will be a new norm for titles to come.
Because of this, fan complaints could be expected:

Any normal company: "Wow that Xenoblade 3 Special Edition crashed our site. Guess we should make some changes to how you order it so everyone manages to get one"
