Xenoblade fans beware. It turns out that the release date for the third installment of the franchise has been broken. With only a week left for its official release, many have found and reported physical copies of Xenoblade Chronicles 3 roaming around. This massive leak has been handled as a warning to the fans because, sure enough, spoilers will start pouring out very soon.
The first photos of these “clandestine” copies were shared on ResetEra yesterday. According to Nintendo Life, several users on the platform also revealed that the game was available on eBay. In addition, sellers claimed to have it ready to ship. Many of those revelations were taken down. But the question remains… what happened here?

An article on VideoGamesChronicle revealed that one of the players who obtained Xenoblade Chronicles 3 early has been showing game footage on the Chinese video sharing website Bilibili, which disclosed significant details about one of the Hero characters players can recruit to their party.
This revelation has turned Xenoblade fans upside down. Many are fearful of the spoiler wave that’s coming to social media. Others genuinely expect the footage to surface anytime soon before the game comes out.

I REPEAT, XENOBLADE 3 GOT LEAKED TIME TO RUN pic.twitter.com/OPf5YwQYl5
We recently learned about Nintendo’s plans to release a Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Expansion Pass priced at $29.99. This would feature four waves of DLC, the first set to release before the end of 2023. Additionally, we had a beautiful eight-minute overview of the game that came out a few days ago.
With the official release so close (July 29), there’s not much left to do. If you’re a fan who already pre-ordered Xenoblade Chronicles 3, chances are you’ll stumble upon big spoilers soon. So, for the time being, better stay off social media until your copy arrives.
