After officially announcing the PS Plus games for August, PlayStation has announced that in addition to Yakuza: Like a Dragon (one of the titles that make up this month's selection), the rest of the main installments of the Yakuza saga will also arrive soon at the service of subscription.
Unfortunately, these games will not be available to members of the Essential plan since they will be exclusive to the PS Plus Extra and Premium catalog, and some will even only be available for the latter.
Check the list below to find out which games are coming soon to PS Plus!
- Yakuza: Like a Dragon: Available August 2 for PS Plus Essential, Extra, and Premium.
- Yakuza 0: Available in August for PS Plus Extra and Premium.
- Yakuza Kiwami: Available in August for PS Plus Extra and Premium.
- Yakuza Kiwami 2: Available in August for PS Plus Extra and Premium.
- Yakuza 3 Remastered: Available later for PS Plus Premium.
- Yakuza 4 Remastered: Available later for PS Plus Premium.
- Yakuza 5 Remastered: Available later for PS Plus Premium.
- Yakuza 6: The Song of Life: Coming Later for PS Plus Extra and Premium.
So, when exactly are we getting these?
As you can see, there is still no specific date for the arrival of most of them. Beyond the addition of Yakuza: Like a Dragon to the August PS Plus Essential games.
Yakuza 0, Yakuza Kiwami, and Yakuza Kiwami 2 will also arrive next month. The PS Plus catalog is usually updated to receive news in the middle of the month, so that could be when Extra and Premium subscribers can start playing them.
The remaining four titles (Yakuza 3 Remastered, Yakuza 4 Remastered, Yakuza 5 Remastered, and Yakuza 6: The Song of Life) do not have an exact date, only the intention of joining the PS Plus catalog throughout the year.
The remasters will only be available to PS Plus Premium members because they are considered classics from old consoles, included within the backward compatible catalog of the most expensive plan.
