Who doesn’t love zombie outbreaks? Let me tell you that my favorite part of every Call of Duty game has always been the zombie mode. I have had so much fun playing this with my friends. And today, I'm super glad to tell you that the zombie fest is returning for more at Call of Duty: Warzone. Unfortunately, this new modality won’t last very long.
A limited-time mode entitled Rebirth of the Dead (I see what you did there! ) brings endless zombie hordes to Rebirth Island, which will continue the adventures we once started at Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War.
The new zombie mode is available now, and it will be until August 25. So don’t lose any time and enjoy the zombie invasion now!
If you think that by playing one zombie mode from Call of Duty, you played them all… think again. This new format (developed by Beenox studio) made some exciting modifications. For example, the playability has been adapted to fit perfectly with the island’s map design.
A new infestation mechanic brings the spirit of late-round Zombie matches to Warzone. Human players may need to fight off dozens of recently respawned Zombies to survive. If you don’t, you will come back as zombies!
Player-controlled zombies also get unique abilities and tools, which allow them to jump farther and higher, an EMP Blast that destroys enemy electronics like proximity mines, player HUDs and reticles, and a Gas Grenade that damages and disorientates enemies.
