The Dark Pictures Anthology has become one of the benchmarks of horror on consoles. Sometimes supernatural, sometimes slasher, Supermassive Games is creating a series of anthology titles that could be on par with the biggest franchises in the industry.
The Devil in Me, the next chapter in this franchise, will transport us to a castle with a hotel-like appearance very close to the style of The Shining, where Granthem Du'Met has deployed his lunatic imagery to create death traps for visitors.
While we knew until now that the game would arrive in the fall, a new leak indicates that it will be available from November 30. ALumia_Italia, the user who reported the release dates of Skull and Bones and FIFA 23, has assured that The Devil in Me will be on the market next November. Of course, neither Bandai Namco nor Supermassive confirmed that date.
Unlike previous entries in its Dark Pictures series, The Devil in Me does not appear to unwrap in a supernatural route. This time, the game seems to be rooted in some grim and believable reality, akin to the popular movie franchise Saw.

This fourth and last entry to the saga marks the finale of its first season and continues the studio's legacy of cinematic action and choice-based gameplay. But since the players have received them fondly, we can probably expect more games from this series.
The game follows a group of documentary filmmakers who receive a mysterious call inviting them to a modern-day replica of HH Holmes Murder Hotel. But on arrival, the crew soon discovers they are being watched and manipulated. Maybe there is something more at risk other than ratings.
The Devil in Me will be coming to PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC. You can pre-order the game now from Bandai Namco's official website.
