So what happened to Splatoon 3? Could it be that Nintendo forgot the title? That's what every Nintendo fan has been wondering. This is how they have made it known through social media.
It all started when The Pokémon Company announced that it would soon give more information about Pokémon Scarlet & Violet through a broadcast of the franchise in general. Many fans believe that Nintendo should carry out a transmission of the new adventure of Splatoon 3 instead of Pokémon Scarlet & Violet, considering that these two titles will debut until November and Splatoon in just over a month, September 9.

Splatoon 3 fans: Hey so Splatoon 3 is Nintendo's next big release in about a month. Perhaps they'll release something relating to it like they did with Xenoblade-

It blows my mind that we're a month away from Splatoon 3 and we barely know anything about it. We are 100% getting a Splatoon direct or some kinda video this month! pic.twitter.com/s35q4vYT1y

WHAT HAPPENED TO SPLATOON 3?
Many fans are speculating about a possible delay of the title since Nintendo has not made any mention of the game. However, let us remember that Nintendo announced weeks ago that it would advance the premiere of Xenoblade Chronicles 3, which gave Splatoon 3 development time, so it was delayed until September. Also, the discussion began about whether Splatoon 3 is worth it as a new game or if it will be more of the same as seen in Splatoon or Splatoon 2.
It is also worth mentioning that although there is no new presentation on the title, it does not mean that Nintendo has forgotten it; in fact, it has shared some news about the game through its Twitter account. The company has constantly been sharing new material, artwork, or information on new ink weapons.
On the other hand, you should know that the presentation of Pokémon is on behalf of The Pokémon Company and not Nintendo (which is not the same thing). That said, Nintendo may prepare a separate stream focused on Splatoon 3 ahead of its release.
Nintendo is not the Pokémon Company, though. There absolutely will be a dedicated Splatoon direct, probably next week.
