With only a month to go until Splatoon 3 officially launches, Nintendo has revealed much new information about the game that fans have asked for for a long time.
There were a few important announcements that were detailed shortly after the broadcast. The details of the new Splatoon title were revealed in its most recent Nintendo Direct that was dedicated to this latest installment. To start, the shooter will have a demo allowing players to try the title before its release and learn about the new Splatfest variant.
That's not all; the company will release three new collectible Splatoon 3 amiibo figures.
WE GIVE YOU DETAILS ABOUT THE SPLATOON 3 DEMO
Nintendo announced the Splatoon 3: Splatfest World Premiere demo, which will be available to Switch users on August 27. Participants can enjoy the first world event of the title for free before the official premiere.
The demo will be available for download from the eShop starting August 18. Players must decide between joining the paper, rock, or scissors team. Later, they will battle in the new Tricolor Turf War mode to determine the winner.
A part of the demo will be playable from August 25, but the Splatfest itself will start on August 27 at 9:00 AM PT. A Switch Online subscription will be required to enjoy the event. Nintendo will offer a new free period of 7 days of the service.
A Nintendo Switch Online membership is required to access the Splatoon 3 Splatfest World Premiere demo. Everyone who downloads the demo will receive a code redeemable for a 7-day free trial. Code redemption begins 8/25/22 and must be redeemed before 11:59pm PT on 8/31/22.

THESE ARE THE AMIBOS OF SPLATOON 3
The three amiibos that will be released are based on the shooter: Inkling (yellow), Octoling (blue), and Smallfry. They will be available later this year and will cost $15.99.
The collectibles will be used to store combinations of outfits, exchange them with other players, and unlock exclusive equipment in the new installment. Lastly, it was confirmed that amiibo such as Callie & Marie and Pearl & Marina would be re-released and cost $24.99 each.
Splatoon 3 will debut on September 9 on Nintendo Switch.
