As we should be used to now, Marvel’s Midnight Suns' superheroes tend to receive a Hero Spotlight video, a Hero Story trailer, and the Gameplay Showcase one that ends up showing all the details related to said hero playability.
This time, a new Gameplay Showcase trailer shows off all the potential that Wolverine has to offer in the upcoming card-based strategy game.
A must-have in any team
According to the trailer Wolverine’s moves focus on his single combat abilities due to his range and fighting style, he also has his own resources to take out entire groups of enemies such as his Lethal Pounce technique which inflicts massive damage to enemies.
On the other hand, his advanced self-heal ability has a twist. It triggers every time the player re-draws a Wolverine card, granting Wolverine some health. If you draw the Rapid Regeneration card you got 50% health back, fortunately (or not so) this Rapid Regeneration card is only available to use once per fight. Let’s face it, this makes Wolverine the “must-have” character in your team at any time.
The tactical turn-based RPG recently got delayed again until 2023 in order to give the dev team more time so they can ensure the best experience for fans. Nonetheless, you can preorder the game now on its official website.
Remember, Marvel’s Midnight Suns will arrive to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
