Activision is accused of plagiarism AGAIN as it seems like they stole a skin design from the recently revealed Dr. Disrespect’s video game DEADROP. The game in question was created by his triple-A studio Midnight Society, which drew the internet's attention after the celebrity asseverated that his game was going to surpass Call of Duty.
Yesterday, Activision unveiled Doomsayer, a new skin for Call of Duty: Vanguard and like the last time this cosmetic shared the exact same details as something that the community has seen before. The costume has a predominantly black and blue design with a holographic skull and a simple armour style; in words, this sounds pretty basic but when you see both pictures you can’t help to admit that this may be blatantly plagiarized.
I think @fourzerotwo (Robert Bowling) is going to be happy to see that Activision just added his own skin in #Vanguard 🤡

What is going on?!
In case you didn't know, DEADROP’s studio head is Robert Bowling, a former member of Activision's Infinity Ward studio which makes this “casualty” even weirder. Although it is not ruled out that this is an incredible coincidence, Bowling shared on Twitter a very ambiguous message in which he seems to insinuate that Activision copied his design:
At least name it after me.

As you may remember, this is not the first time Activision is involved in a plagiarism controversy. We recently informed that the company removed a skin from the game after an artist claimed that his art had been stolen to create it.
Ok, but has Activision said something? The last time they offered apologies but did not elaborate on the details however in this other case, the company has not spoken at all, if they decide to break the silence we will keep you updated.
