Sky: Children of the Light, this open-world social indie video game developed by Thatgamecompany, initially debuted in 2019 for iOS mobile devices only. However, a year later, it came to Android devices.
The studio had secured a console version available later. With the arrival of the Nintendo Switch in 2021, it was thought that the other consoles would be excluded. Especially since, being a mobile game, it can be played anywhere, and the Nintendo Switch console would continue with this idea.
