The virtual reality industry has been advancing by leaps and bounds, with increasingly ambitious projects and thousands of companies and independents developing significant eye-catching proposals for different sectors.
As we already know, Sony has its PlayStation VR, and it is currently one of the most successful devices in the VR sector; however, there is still much that needs to be explored with VR in the gaming field, as there is still much to be discovered.
PSVR2 HAS A GREAT PROPOSAL FOR DEVELOPERS
During a presentation at the CEDEC 2022 technology event (Via IGN), Yasuo Takahashi and Kenjo Akiyama, directors of Sony Interactive Entertainment, revealed many details of PSVR2 that will benefit creators.
Initially, it was revealed that the development environment will be unified with the company's current console, the PS5, since the VR device shares the technology of the development kit, so it will be easier to create a VR version or some way to games originally intended for console.

On the other hand, it was guaranteed that the development kit and the tools to create it would have the necessary support for Unreal Engine and Unity, 2 of the most used graphics engines in the world.
Likewise, in terms of development and testing, devs who have projects for PSVR2 will be able to use the VR Trace tools that facilitate the diagnosis of problems, making their location easier and simplifying the creative process since the work can be done through the management of data, actual and fictitious, for a solution, without needing to use the headset repeatedly.
At the same time, developers will have access to PlayStation VR2 Comfort Sample technology, allowing them to adjust and balance the design of their virtual reality games by locating problems in the user experience and their resolution.
According to official information, the PlayStation VR2 will debut in early 2023.
