Warner Bros. Games and Avalanche have released new Hogwarts Legacy trailer, showing off the common rooms of the wizarding houses as well as a tour of the famous magical castle.
Although we can see a Quidditch player in this last video, the invented sport in which two teams compete riding their brooms, the developers have since clarified that it will not be possible to play Quidditch in the game.
Although we will not be able to use them to play Quidditch, we will be able to use them as a vehicle during our adventure, not only to move freely but also to compete: ''Quidditch is not playable in Hogwarts Legacy. However, broom flight for traversal and broom race challenges are part of the game. Players can also fly brooms to explore new and familiar locations surrounding Hogwarts Castle,'' the game's FAQ reads.
Hogwarts Legacy is an immersive, open-world action RPG set in the world first introduced in the Harry Potter books. For the first time, experience Hogwarts in the 1800s. Your character is a student who holds the key to an ancient secret that threatens to tear the wizarding world apart.
Now you can take control of the action and be at the center of your own adventure in the wizarding world. Your legacy is what you make of it.
Hogwarts Legacy will see the light on February 10, 2023, on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC. It will also come out on Nintendo Switch at a later date.
