As you may already know, yesterday, the internet was flooded with information regarding the upcoming GTA title. Unfortunately, a hacker shared the gameplay, whose online accounts became the most visited just a few hours after the video was uploaded.
As expected, the content has been deleted, and the talented hacker is being searched for his stunt. Here’s some of what we picked up from yesterday’s incident, in case you still feel curious about this happening:

Hours passed, and Rockstar Games didn’t even make a peep. We guess that, like GTA fans online, the developer/publisher also wanted to discover what was happening before they had anything said or done. Some others thought that could be a marketing strategy to put the game out and “see what happens.” Unfortunately, we didn’t hear from them regarding this situation until today.
Rockstar Games’ official Twitter account posted a message:

Indeed, this was a massive intrusion the company has suffered. Although it is a relief that they have reached out to their audience online, the message itself looks like they are still trying to figure out what to do with the leaked gameplay.
Besides the content being in early development, we are not sure what will happen to this title. Will it suffer a do-over? Will it remain as it was when it was leaked? Hard to know. And when will they share an official release date and details? It seems like it won’t be any time soon.
We’ll keep you posted on further development on this story.
