A very interesting but controversial glitch has been found in Splatoon 3. According to many players online, this particular malfunction lets players fire through floors.
Apparently, when you use the Sloshing Machine weapon, it creates a large splash when it hits walls. But players have been finding that the splash can travel through and hit players on the other side in certain situations, usually the floor on a bridge.
Twitter user yowaihito_noob shared that this means if a player is standing on a bridge, another player can kill them from underneath. By standing under the bridge and firing at the roof, the splat travels through the bridge and hits the player on top.
According to VGC, some players have pointed out that this glitch also appears in other circumstances with different weapons, but it appears that it’s much easier to pull off with the Sloshing Machine.

Nintendo hasn’t made a public statement regarding the issue, so the glitch may persevere until the big N announces something about it. However, the next update for Splatoon 3 comes in a few days (September 30), so hopefully, among the already listed issues, they will also take care of this one.
Splatoon 3 was released earlier this month and has already sold 3.45 million copies in Japan alone during its first three days on sale, achieving Japanese Switch software launch records.
