Hey PC gamers, especially the World of Warcraft fans, we have excellent news for you. World of Warcraft just received Wrath of the Lich King in its classic version, but that's not all the community can expect from the game in 2022. Also, get ready because the Dragonflight expansion is on the way and already has a release date.
Through a statement, Blizzard Entertainment announced that Dragonflight, the next expansion for World of Warcraft, will debut on November 28, and it will be released globally at 3:00 PM Pacific Time.
"Dragonflight was created with our amazing community in mind and with the desire to return to what we love with all our hearts: the splendor of Azeroth and its characters, and our players as the heroes of the story," said the VP and Executive Producer from World of Warcraft, Holly Longdale.
"We invite everyone to be part of this new adventure in which we will delight in the landscapes of the dragons, we will be part of their ancient legacy, and we will discover together the secrets of these lands."
WHAT IS DRAGONFLIGHT, THE NEW EXPANSION FOR WORLD OF WARCRAFT?
Dragonflight is the next expansion for World of Warcraft. In it, players will visit the Dragon Islands and have the opportunity to explore four new areas. Each is based on different ancient dragons, thus revealing more about their stories and presenting the answer to forgotten secrets.
In Dragonflight, players will encounter the Dracthyr. New playable characters will be available from the pre-patch for players who purchased the expansion. They can change between humanoid forms and a draconic appearance. They also introduce a unique Evoker class that can deal much damage and heals their allies.
Another important new feature is dragon riding. This ability will allow you to fly over the Dragon Isles. We also can't fail to mention that it features eight new dungeons and a new level cap (70).
And you, will you start the adventure in Dragonflight from its opening day? What is it that most attracts your attention?
World of Warcraft: Dragonflight is coming to PC and Mac on November 28.
