New Tales from the Borderlands has officially gone gold!

The folks at Gearbox Software announced today with great pride that New Tales from the Borderlands has officially entered the heavily expected Gold phase!

This means that development is complete, and the sequel to Telltale Games' critically acclaimed Tales from the Borderlands will hit physical and digital shelves in time for the previously announced October 21, 2022 release date on PS 4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Epic Games Store and Steam.

New Tales from the Borderlands will be available in Standard and Deluxe editions, with the latter including a copy of the first chapter in the package. Pre-orders will guarantee as a bonus the Adventure Capital Pack, including cosmetic items for Anu, Octavio, and Fran, 10,000 virtual currency tokens, and an in-game FL4K Vaultlander collectible.

Anu, Octavio, and Fran are the three main characters in New Tales from the Borderlands; their stories will be determined by the choices they make throughout the adventure, which will have a significant impact on the game's continuation and ending. Each character is outfitted with a distinct gadget.

Anu uses hi-tech goggles to scan objects, whereas Octavio uses his wrist ECHOdex to retrieve data from anyone's social profiles and hack devices. Finally, Fran can attack his problems one punch at a time or freeze them with his flying chair's built-in accessories.
