Jujutsu Kaisen: Phantom Parade delayed

You will have to wait a little longer

It was a pleasant surprise when last summer Japanese magazine Weekly Jump revealed that Sumzap studio, was working on the very first Jujutsu Kaisen game; Jujutsu Kaisen: Phantom Parade.

Back then, they gave us a couple of details like it will be a mobile RPG “with spectacular graphics” and while they didn’t announce if it will be available outside of Japan it was confirmed that it will be released during fall 2022 but surprisingly it didn't.

Did you know? List of animes coming to Crunchyroll this fall!

Is 2022 the year of delays?

A couple of days ago, Sumzap studio take over Twitter to share the sad news with fans, Jujutsu Kaisen: Phantom Parade, will be delayed until Spring 2023 as they have a lot to work on.

According to the statement, the reason behind the delay is to improve the overall quality of the game. Sumzap reassured players and anyone interested that the development is going smoothly, so you should not worry, just need to be patient. Fortunately, not everything was “bad” they also got to share a second trailer where you can see anime-like battle scenes portraying the special skills of Satoru Gojo and Toge Inumaki, and the collaboration specials of Yuhito Kojo and Aoi Todo.

Without further due we will leave the trailer below:

Remember, it is not yet certain that the game will be released outside of Japan, however, in case it is announced later don't forget to stay tuned here on LevelUp.
