Arkane after Redfall and Deathloop: big project not yet announced in development!

Following the arrival of Deathloop on Xbox with the Golden Loop update, Arkane Studios fans are eagerly awaiting the arrival of Redfall, the new vampire-based action game coming later next year.

We know that Arkane Austin is focused solely on Redfall, a title that will offer an online cooperative component for the first time in the French studio's history. In the meantime, the developers at Arkane Lyon, who handled Deathloop and should have ended support for the time-loop-based action game by now, are already working on a new project.

What is this new project about?

As reported on Twitter by user Faizan Shaikh, Arkane's Lyon branch is working on a "big project not yet announced." Revealing this is the Linkedin profile of a Technical Artist from the software house, which unfortunately does not reveal any details about the new title.

It is specified that the team has previously worked on games such as Deathloop and Wolfenstein: Cyberpilot, but we do not know if the new game will have anything to do with these productions. To learn more, we will have to wait for future updates from the software house that is part of Microsoft's Xbox Game Studios.

Some rumors shared earlier this year may indicate that the title is about a third game in the Dishonored series. The rumors were around an opening posted by Arkane in mid-May, looking for a Lead Designer who "understands the design philosophy behind stealth action-adventure games like the Dishonored series."
