We know that Cyberpunk 2077 did not have the best launch in the history of video games; however, little by little, the game's image has been corrected due to its updates, free content, and great anime.
In case you don't know, its first and only expansion for the game, Phantom Liberty, was confirmed a while ago, so many users are excited to play it, but perhaps, they will not be so encouraged to know that this new content will not be free.
Radek Grabowski, global director of public relations at CD Projekt RED, stated that Phantom Liberty would be paid content. In an interview with GamesRadar, the member of the Polish studio confirmed that players will have to pay to enjoy this expansion for Cyberpunk 2077.
“About the price of the expansion, we have not shared exact details, but it will be paid for,” Grabowski said.
At the moment, Grabowski could not confirm how much Phantom Liberty will cost for Cyberpunk 2077. He assured it would be cheaper than a full game, as is customary with expansions for CD Projekt RED games.
Considering that Phantom Liberty will be adding a new district, its price will likely be similar to that of Blood and Wine. That remains to be seen, and we'll stay tuned for more.
