I hope you weren’t expecting good news from EA because as the title has already suggested, they are delaying the return of their College Football videogame. Yes, the long-awaited return of this franchise will not happen until 2024 or at least that is what insider Matt Brown has tweeted.
Per multiple sources familiar with the situation, EA is expected to announce tomorrow morning around 10 AM ET that EA Sports College Football will be delayed until 2024. More details to come tomorrow. https://t.co/iatNaUnnEz

According to Brown, the company is going to share more details tomorrow morning around 10 am ET. Also, he has suggested that this delay may be occasioned as EA wants to make this title a completely new IP and not just a Madden reskin.
Quick thoughts

1) I am legitimately surprised by this.
2) I've been writing this basically ever since I first broke news about the game...EA does not want to just do a Madden reskin. They want the CFB game to be completely new IP.
Did you know?: Madden 23 players are fed up with the game’s bugs
As expected we don’t have more details and as sad as the news is we can’t do much. So far, we don’t know how far advanced is this project as it was just announced back in February last year 2021.
And the differences are…
In case you don’t know, the EA Sports NCAA Football video game is way different from the Madden one, here you control and compete against current college football teams with their very first release being in 1993 and the last and most valuable NCAA Football 14 which surprisingly is still played and have been modded by fans countless times.
We will wait until tomorrow to learn the fate of EA Sports College Football which hopefully this time will arrive in time.
In case you are still very lost, we will leave a quick gameplay down below:
