After finalizing the team between NetEase and Quantic Dream, top executives of the Chinese gaming giant are looking in the direction of Rebel Wolves to help develop the Triple-A RPG being worked on by the new software house founded in early 2022 by Konrad Tomaszkiewicz, former Game Director of The Witcher 3.

What does this collaboration mean?
Breaking the news is Tomaszkiewicz himself, who, in his new role as CEO and Game Director of Rebel Wolves, regains social to "welcome NetEase Games as our new shareholder and partner. Counting on the support of one of the leading companies in the digital entertainment industry is a great boost and motivation,'' Konrad said.
''NetEase's investment was the missing piece to materialize our vision. With the resources at our disposal, we can create a world-class triple-A game, so we can finally focus only on what matters most: development."

The synergy with NetEase, according to the former CD Projekt, will give his new team all the confidence, financial peace of mind and creative freedom needed to shape this mysterious triple-A RPG on Unreal Engine 5, which will reportedly take on the contours of a single-player adventure set in a dark-tinged fantasy dimension.
