Little by little, Avalanche Software is introducing us to the many characters who will be part of its new adventure set in the Harry Potter universe. After presenting classmate Amit Thakkar from Hogwarts Legacy, it is now the turn of the Defense Against the Dark Arts professor.
We have a new professor in class
This is Dinah Hecat, an elderly lady with a smiling face who takes her role, one of the most important for all students at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, with great commitment and seriousness. With a long and prosperous career at the Ministry of Magic, during which she spent part of her time in the Department of Mysteries, Hecat left her position to devote herself to teaching.
Rather than a hands-on approach, however, she seems to prefer more practical teaching of her methods, with young students directly involved in the action so that they learn firsthand how to defend themselves against the dark arts. It is, therefore, very likely that Dinah Hecat will play a relevant role within the game, proving to be one of the most critical teachers with whom our young wizard will interact during his stay at Hogwarts.

Available from February 10, 2023, on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox consoles (the confirmed Nintendo Switch version does not yet have a final date), we remind you that Hogwarts Legacy will offer multiple endings influenced by the different narrative forks in the game.
