We love the Asian rating news, know why? Because they always mean that a game is just around the corner and we can’t be more excited, particularly in this case, there wasn’t a confirmed release date.
As you may know, Street Fighter 6 was announced early this year and even though the game went through endless leaks, Capcom refuses to confirm a date, we only know that it will arrive at some point in 2023, that is April 2023 or later…

As we were saying, this news gave us a ray of hope, apparently, the wait will soon be over judging by a registration that has just taken place this month in South Korea to carry out its classification within that country.

This registration does not offer much information beyond what is known, but it not only indicates that the game's development is progressing favourably, but it could also give away a possible release date announcement in the near future.
Video games usually receive their rating 3 to 6 months before their release, so it coincides with the possibility of an upcoming release date announcement. However, this should not be seen as a confirmation at all.
As we told you, Street Fighter 6 will not debut until at least April 1, 2023, as Capcom already revealed that it has plans to release only 1 big game before the end of its fiscal year, and that title is the Resident Evil 4 Remake, which will debut on March 23 next year.
All in all, it's not unreasonable to think that Capcom would be preparing for the reveal of the release date, which it could well unveil at The Game Awards 2022, the last major event of the year.
