Like a Dragon: Ishin shares the uses of each of the combat styles. The spinoff of Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio's long-running saga, set in feudal Japan, returns to the forefront with a remake at all levels. Players will once again face the classic brawler formula according to the gameplay style they want to keep.
Different styles for different fights
The Combat Trailer, packaged by the authors of the Yakuza series, shows us the varied arsenal available to our alter-ego. Also, thanks to the new footage, packed with never-before-seen gameplay scenes, we can witness the more original fighting styles we will have to master while wearing Sakamoto Ryoma's swordsman outfit.
Like any good Yakuza title worth its salt, of course, in Like a Dragon Ishin, we will also have a way to express our character's full potential by drawing on an extensive range of fighting styles, from the Clash to Fire and Insane Dance techniques to the Free Fight approach to be chosen depending on the enemy to be faced.
In case you missed it: Does your PC run The Callisto Protocol?
The samurai epic of Like a Dragon Ishin will officially begin on February 21, 2023, on PC, PS4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. Users who pre-order the title will be able to play it in early access as early as February 17 and secure three additional weapons: the dark sword with the white hilt Kijinmaru Kunishige, the blood-soaked sword Bleeding Shine, and the Black Ships Cannon, a powerful hand cannon salvaged from Western vessels.
