After celebrating Mass Effect Day 2022 with the Mass Effect Next clip, it's time for BioWare to immerse itself in the Dragon Age Dreadwolf's ruolistic atmosphere with a trailer focusing on the figure of Solas.
A trailer that we needed
The video packaged by EA's Canadian subsidiary to celebrate Dragon Age Day 2022 in the best way possible thus plunges us back into the fantasy dimension of this beloved IP with an evocative cinematic sequence that, presumably, we will find again in the introductory preamble of the main campaign of DA Dreadwolf.
The undisputed protagonist of this clip is Solas. As explained by the folks at BioWare themselves with the official announcement of Dragon Age Dreadwolf, the new RPG colossal owes its very name to Solas: "Some say he's an ancient elven god; for others, it's just hearsay. Still, others see him as a traitor to his people or a savior willing to make the ultimate sacrifice even at the expense of his own world."
In case you missed it: Fortnite changes everything! Even the Doom Slayer joins in.
The adoption of the title Dreadwolf, then, for BioWare, will be the perfect metaphor for the new beginning of the epic to be lived in the dimension of Thedas, with a plot that will gravitate around the elusive figure of Solas since "his motives are inscrutable and his methods sometimes questionable, but he has earned this controversial reputation and cultivates it by making people believe that he is dedicated to dark and dangerous machinations."
