Less than a month after the debut of Call of Duty Warzone 2.0, people are already starting to talk about the map that will flank Al-Mazrah. Just in the last few hours, an image of the battle royale's second arena has surfaced on the web.
As you can easily imagine, this is a small map that will host the Resurgence mode matches. In a nutshell, we are talking about the heir to Rebirth Island and Fortune's Keep, that is, smaller maps where players face matches entirely with the possibility of re-entry after death with rules closer to a team deathmatch than to the classic battle royale.
Resurgence map for WZ2 is being actively DMCA’d currently. Confirmed real.

A new map is on the way!
Unfortunately, the image disappeared from social media within minutes of its release, as Activision intervened to have it removed from all accounts that shared it. As noted insider Ghost of Hope points out, this only confirms the leak's reliability and suggests that the map's debut is not that far off.
We cannot rule out the possibility that this second arena is coming with Shooter Season 2, set for next February 2023. It is unlikely that the mid-season update will contain content of similar scope, as it will focus on minor additions and the introduction of the Shipment map in Modern Warfare 2.
In case you missed it: ID@Xbox Winter Game Demo Event set to start on December 6.
While we wait to find out more, we would like to remind you that COD Warzone Mobile is also out now in some places, and it has cross-progression with Warzone 2.0 and MW2.
