Liz Albl, a screenwriter who has already played an essential role in writing the scripts for games such as Far Cry 5 and Ghost of Tsushima, has announced that she has been commissioned as the lead narrative for BioShock 4, a new instalment in the 2K Games series about which we still know very little.

Via her Twitter account, Albl confirmed that she has agreed to direct work on the narrative component of BioShock 4, a long-awaited title that has yet to be shown in public. "The dream is real! So happy to announce I've joined Cloud Chamber as Narrative Lead on BIOSHOCK," the author said.
Liz Albl, who worked on the scripts for Ghost of Tsushima and several Ubisoft productions such as Far Cry 5, Assassin's Creed Black Flag, Far Cry 4, and Watch Dogs Legion, thus joins Cloud Chamber, 2K's new in-house studio explicitly founded to develop BioShock 4. Take-Two Interactive announced in 2019 that development would potentially take several years, and indeed to date, we have yet to receive any official material on the project.
In case you missed it: The first Attack on Titan game in VR has just been announced!
We must therefore abide by leaks that BioShock 4 will be set in the 1960s inside an abandoned research base in Antarctica, with an aesthetic style that will closely resemble that adopted by Arkane Studios with Deathloop.
