Seems like Elon Musk, the new owner of Twitter, is willing to do almost anything with the social network as the billionaire has confirmed that he is considering a change that could take away what makes Twitter a unique social network.
It is not a secret that since Musk took over Twitter, the social media platform has been in a thousand controversies and very bizarre moments, I mean, do you remember the #RipTwitter TT?
In case you forgot: Elon Musk wants to charge $20 per month for verified Twitter accounts
Is this a good idea?
Now, to add another one to the list Musk confessed that he would be willing to increase the character limit from 280 to 1000 characters after a Twitter user suggested the increase, actually, he even said that is on the list of things to do.

It’s on the todo list

With this, the social network would have considerably longer tweets, although it would still be much shorter than platforms like Facebook, which offers a limit of 63,206 characters.
Of course, most users didn’t take this well mainly because the idea of Twitter is to speak your mind in a microblogging way. This would just make every post an essay not a Tweet according to users.
Bad idea, a tweet in essence is a small utterance. Long essays will ruin the fun.

We can’t help to agree with them, however, the owner has the last decision… How this will end? Do you agree with this change or you aren’t a Twitter user to begin with, remember to share your opinions below!
