Many players are excited for Dead Space's return with the remake of its first installment. However, a detail of the new version of the classic generated doubts and criticism from the players: the new face of Isaac Clarke, the series's protagonist.
Captures are already circulating on social networks where the remodeled face of the character is seen, and not everyone is happy. Part of the community decided to take it with humor and assured that Clarke now looked like Adam Sandler.
ISAAC CLARKE FACE CHANGED, AND FANS WERE SURPRISED
Electronic Arts works to renew every visual aspect of Dead Space and adapt it to modern demands. This includes the modeling of Isaac Clarke, the character who wears his iconic suit for most of the space adventure.
For the remake, the developers decided to redesign the protagonist's face, which caused controversy and a few jokes among the community. Players mocked the character's new face and compared him to Adam Sandler.
If you look closely, the resemblance between the actor and the character is undeniable. Other players see him as similar to Cole Phelps, the star of L.A.
Some fans even edited the new face to make it more similar to the original or simply to remove his resemblance to Adam Sandler, an actor recognized for his work in comedies.

Hey, I know Isaac Clarke’s face model wasn’t exactly consistent across the Dead Space games, but did they really have to make him look like a youth pastor in the new game? Whose white dad is this? How do you manage to whitewash a white guy? pic.twitter.com/VEOqQhm5Rh
