The PlayStation-exclusive video game saga Horizon, developed by Guerrilla Games, will get a new title within the same universe. This next game will be different from the others in the sense that it will be an online multiplayer experience, as revealed by Guerrilla via Twitter.
During The Game Awards, the fans of this great franchise were surprised by the announcement of the new DLC Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores, which will be released on April 19, 2023.
And now developers Guerrilla Games give us a new unexpected revelation in which the world of Horizon will expand with a new title focused on being an online multiplayer. New characters are anticipated as well. There is a whole new team expected for this project. All members consist of animation, art, design, programming, and writing.
"A new internal team is developing a separate Online Project set in Horizon's universe. Featuring a new cast of characters and a unique stylized look, friends will be able to explore the majestic wilds of Horizon together."

A few months ago there was a rumor in which a multiplayer game could be announced, and it actually happened. One out of the three sources mentioned that we could expect a cooperative experience. And the customization would revolve around the different tribes introduced in the franchise, although the latter is not confirmed yet.
