Via the official page of the horror game coming in March 2023 remastered for PC and consoles, Koei-Tecmo has revealed prices and contents of the special edition of Fatal Frame Mask of the Lunar Eclipse that will be distributed in Japan.
The Japanese publisher confirmed that the base game would cost 6,380 yen (about 48 dollars), while to get your hands on the premium edition, inside which a physical copy of the game is included, you will need to shell out 12,080 yen (about 90 dollars).
What does this edition include?
The premium edition contains a book inside which a prequel story of the play can be accessed. The story focuses on Marie and Tomoe and talks about the five people who were taken away, the details of which are not told in the central story part of the game.
Also included is the soundtrack on CD, along with a download for songs not included in the main story. As Koei-Tecmo warns, there is no need to be alarmed by sound interference since it is part of the eerie sound accompaniment to the horror experience. Finally, included are two clear files. All the bonuses will also be available in a separate edition without a copy of the game, selling for 5,700 yen (about 43 dollars).
