The Nvidia RTX 40 series has been a roller coaster, in case you forgot last year they released the RTX GeForce 4090 Ti, Nvidia RTX 4090 and the RTX 4080 12GB, all three were pulled from the shelves for a number of reasons, the first two were melting connectors and power supplies and the latest was “unlaunched” for having a wrong name that could confuse the consumers.
Actually, the RTX 4070 Ti is identical to the RTX 4080 12GB, but you know, with the correct naming. With this is easier to understand that its power is significantly lower than the 4080, nonetheless, its performance is 2x higher than the 3090 Ti card.

Powerful enough
In case you are planning to buy the 4070 Ti there are a couple of things you should know.
To begin with, this card is targeted at those looking for a midrange performance and like all the 40 series cards this one is powered by the new gen of RTX tech Ada Lovelace, you will be able to experience fast ray tracing and AI-accelerated performance with DLSS 3.
If you are ok with it you should know that the 4070 Ti will officially come out on January 5 and will retail for $799.00.
