More than two years after the debut of PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, development teams are not ceasing to support the previous generation consoles. These include Mundfish, which will also offer its Atomic Heart on PS4 and Xbox One.
With only a few weeks before the retro-futuristic shooter's debut, the authors wanted to reassure the community about the title's performance on older hardware. In a recent interview, Mundfish founder Robert Bragatuni promised a quality experience for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions of Atomic Heart.
What does this mean?
"We set up an amazing optimization,'' vouched the game director, ''We literally turned the engine upside down with a can opener to make sure that the game could use the CPU to the maximum on all platforms."
The process, Bragatuni continued, "presented a challenge and was not easy, but it was absolutely worth it." With the game's launch now in the home stretch, the community will soon be able to test the veracity of Mundfish's promise.''

In case you missed it: The Last of Us fans did not want Pedro Pascal as Joel because of his beard.
Meanwhile, the software house showed the PC version of Atomic Heart in action at CES 2023 as the countdown to the title's launch nears. The "Russian BioShock" will debut on February 21, 2023, on PC and consoles. We also remind you that Atomic Heart will also arrive on Xbox Game Pass.
