The vampire-themed -first-person shooter Redfall was delayed at the end of last year and after that “update,” we didn’t hear anything else about it since then. Well, seems like our friends at Windows Central had very interesting information about the next release date of the next project from Arkane Studios.

Apparently, some sources suggest that the upcoming Xbox exclusive Redfall is launching in May, 2023. Windows Central assures that some of their sources have corroborated those reports, so, we can be almost sure that the game soon!
After its first delay, the game was expected for March 2023, until it was delayed again at the end of December. To be fair, waiting another two months is not that bad.
But how this rumour started?
The new release was more rumour at the beginning with Game Reviewer @Okami13 mentioning the possible release window along with the second delay news. However, Jez Corden from Windows Central corroborated this with several other sources on the XB2+1 Xbox podcast.
Apparently, Microsoft's internal targets focus on early May for the game's launch, and are planning an early access period similar to Forza Horizon 5, so we can expect the same treatment for Redfall. Hopefully, Redfall will be the opening act of several games for Xbox this 2023 after 2022 was, well… a little empty.
