The HBO series The Last of Us is a sensation and thanks to its success, the streaming platform of Warner Bros. Discovery has done very well. Well, the furor for the series also splashed Depeche Mode.
If you watched the first episode of the series, you probably remember that the band's theme Never Let Me Down Again was used to hide a message, give closure, and portend what lies ahead on Joel and Ellie's journey.
Well, as is normal in these cases of the great success of a product, the interest of the audience reached the theme of the band. We know this thanks to Spotify's stats, which saw a 377% increase in streams for Never Let Me Down Again.
