Fans of horror games should be very happy because, in a few hours, they'll be back exploring a revamped Ishimura in the Dead Space Remake if they're not already doing so. While EA Motive stayed true to the original game, they did prepare a handful of additions that weren't in either the original game or the later installments, such as the secret alternate ending that is getting a lot of buzzes. Well, EA Motive has just revealed how to unlock this and other new features.

We had already told you that the game's trophy list gave away the inclusion of a new and mysterious ending. Well, now we know that it is not only about this sequence, but that there will be another new element that will appear in the game that the people in charge of the project have just confirmed.

HOW TO UNLOCK THE ALTERNATE ENDING AND OTHER ADDITIONS?

Through its Twitter account, EA Motive revealed that apart from the alternate ending the Dead Space Remake will include an additional upgrade level for Isaac Clarke's suit, which will reach level 6 and will be extremely useful for fighting Necromorphs. The addition that excited fans the most is the "new ghost variant of Necromorphs".

The managers did not elaborate on these new features but anticipated that they can be obtained if the player finishes the game for the first time and starts a new game not from 0, but a New Game+.

By doing so, the player will not only keep the improvements of the original adventure and, as in the 2008 game, will be able to access the advanced level 6 suit. But it seems that this time the new game will be more complicated since a new variant of Necromorph will appear, of which we do not know many details, but apparently it will contribute to the psychosis that EA Motive wants to offer in the remake. The alternate ending should be unlocked by completing this new game, so fans will have to overcome this challenge to discover it.
