Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, the sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, is one of the most anticipated games of 2023. To the misfortune of fans dying to play it, Electronic Arts and Respawn Entertainment decided to delay it.

Through a statement, Respawn Entertainment confirmed that Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will now arrive on April 28, 2023. Originally the new chapter in Cal Kestis' story was scheduled to debut on March 17. The above means that Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will arrive a little over a month later than expected. Fortunately, this delay will surely mean a higher quality project at launch.

WHY WAS STAR WARS JEDI: SURVIVOR DELAYED?

Now, what was the reason why Star Wars Jedi: Survivor was delayed? Surely you already know the answer, or at least you intuit it. In their press release, Respawn and Electronic Arts confirmed that the extra month of development will allow them to reach the quality bar they are looking for. With this, they want to deliver the level of polish that their fans deserve.

"In order for the team to hit the Respawn quality bar, provide the team the time they need, and achieve the level of polish our fans deserve, we have added six crucial weeks to our release schedule - Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will now launch globally on April 28th," stated Respawn.
