Since the release of the big update to Overwatch 2 Blizzard has brought many relevant changes with each season, as season 2 brought the new hybrid agent Ramattra and the map Shambali, and for season 3 they don't want to stop surprising us.
Tomorrow Tuesday, February 7, the update to season 3 will be available. In it, we will find a variety of changes and additions that will happen in different time periods, and one of these is their first and most significant collaboration so far with the One-Punch Man series. This and much more are scheduled with a roadmap we will see in a moment.
Asian mythology theme and new control map
Inspired by various deities in Japanese mythology you'll find many themed skins included in the Battle Pass and some others accessible via the in-game shop. If you complete the Premium Battle Pass you’ll unlock the Amaterasu Kiriko Mythic skin. It has customizations you can mix and match themed for the moon, the sea, and storms.
Additionally, a new control map named the Antarctic Peninsula has been included. As a fun fact, it was already seen in the cinematic short video "Rise and Shine" dated back on August 2017.

Valentine's event, One-Punch Man collaboration, and PachiMarchi's event
Valentine's Day is fast approaching, and with it, a special event will be part of Overwatch 2 starting on February 13 and ending on February 28 in which the Loverwatch Dating Sim web event will take place alongside the Ultimate Valentine's Event with a slight difference that this one starts on February 14.
From March 7 to April 6, we will be able to experience the first major IP collaboration with the beloved anime series One-Punch Man, which will bring in-game skins and cosmetics to be revealed at the time the event starts. The only thing that has been showcased from this crossover is Saitama's hero outfit that Doomfist will wear as a skin.
From March 21 to April 4 there will also be another event that after two years make its appearance again. You probably know it's PachiMarchi because we mentioned it a moment ago, but it's also one that many players loved from the moment it was announced on YouTube.
We know it can be a lot of events to remember in such a short time, so we recommend you watch the following roadmap published by the official Overwatch 2 account via Twitter; below you will also see the trailer of season 3 that starts tomorrow.
