As you may already know, every Thursday of each week we can get the new title that the Epic Games Store platform gives us. This time it is a single indie title that you can save permanently in your game library, and it is the strategy game Warpips.
As shared on the Epic Games Store game page, "Warpips is what would happen if Command and Conquer and Nexus Wars had a baby made out of tanks and napalm! Set loose the engine of war and watch the chaos of physics-based combat explode onto the battlefield! Assemble your army from a diverse roster of infantry, vehicles, and airplanes. Deploy troops, call down airstrikes, and launch missiles, all without that pesky micromanagement."
How can I get it?
- Click on this link to go to the Epic Games Store.
- Go to the free games section as shown in the first picture of this note and go to each game's store page.
- Click the "Get" button on the right side of the screen.
- You will see a screen with the purchase information, in this case at no cost.
- Click on "Checkout."

Lately, we've been witnessing a selection of indie titles from Epic Games Store giveaways. They may be opting to give away little-known games to give a boost of recognition or just looking to continue a new culture of giving away a free game every week for the entire year. Since December 2022 we have seen free games and this may continue throughout 2023.
