As many of us know VALORANT is one of the most popular free-to-play tactical multiplayer first-person shooters currently. And recently it has been revealing new content for the game that will make the title more appealing to both current and new players.
Since February 28 VALORANT has been sharing teasers of what will be the next agent that will be available in the next act, but this time there is another big announcement that many will love. And that is that they have announced the release window for the beta of Premier, the "team-based competitive system that connects the game and the sport as one greater whole."
What is Premiere and when will it be available?
If you are familiar with the Clash tournament system implemented in Riot Games' flagship game League of Legends then you will easily understand what Premier will be all about in VALORANT.
You'll need to team up with your friends or build a group to compete throughout the act and have the possibility to participate in the playoff tournament to be "crowned one of the top teams in your skill division."
If you are enjoying the current VCT Lock-In and wish to participate in this exciting international event, Premier will be your best choice. Leo Faria, head of VALORANT esports, stated that "Premier will be the path to VCT Challenger Leagues."
Meaning that by having an outstanding performance with your team during the Premier tournaments all participants will have bigger chances to play with the pros and probably get to Champions one day.
The Premier Global Beta is expected to be released in Episode 6 Act 3, which is a couple of months from now. Nowing that Act 2 will start next week we can have an idea of the approximate date that the Act will begin. At the time we can say that it will happen sometime mid-year, but we'll probably receive an exact date in the next few weeks.

The Premier system will undoubtedly be a great opportunity to highlight many players and teams that have great performance and will have the deserved recognition for their extensive playing time in this great title. Even you could be one of them if you have the skills and team capable of taking on professional-level players.
