We have more statements coming from the president of Nintendo of America, Doug Bowser, who recently spoke about the future of Switch and now reiterated that the company is working on more audiovisual projects with its main franchises.
As you surely know, Super Mario Bros. The Movie is Nintendo's next big release for the big screen, so it is expected to be a great success and open the door for other plans outside of video games to come true.
Now, Doug Bowser has just confirmed that Nintendo is interested in creating other audiovisual projects that follow the example of the plumber's film and is already doing so. Of course, he did not share many details.
It was in an interview with the Associated Press where the president of Nintendo of America was questioned about the company's plans on multimedia issues, to which the executive responded as follows:
“We have announced that we are working on other video projects, but we are not at the point where we want to talk about what characters they will be. I could share my favorites, but that probably wouldn't be appropriate," Bowser said.
