RUMOR: Shin Megami Tensei titles could become available on the Xbox Game Pass

ATLUS is getting ready to celebrate a very important date: the 30th anniversary of Shin Megami Tensei. Rumors claim that the company is preparing important announcements for Xbox gamers, as the main saga will return after years of absence and will come to Xbox Game Pass.

According to the details, the company allegedly plans to release at least 4 games of the saga on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One. It is also said that some of these releases would also come to Nintendo Switch and PC.

According to rumors, ATLUS has several releases planned to celebrate 30 years of its iconic saga. For starters, Shin Megami Tensei III Nocturne HD Remaster will finally arrive on Xbox systems after its release on all other platforms.

On the other hand, Shin Megami Tensei V, for now, exclusive to Switch, would make the jump to Xbox and PC. We have had several reports about these ports and even Nvidia's leak mentioned the PC version.

The most interesting thing is undoubtedly the supposed return of Shin Megami Tensei IV and Shin Megami Tensei IV: Apocalypse, Nintendo 3DS games that, supposedly, will be ported with various improvements for modern systems. Among them are Nintendo Switch, Xbox consoles, and PC.

Another striking detail is that all these titles would be available on Xbox Game Pass. Now, it is important to mention that this is a rumor and ATLUS has not confirmed anything about it. The anniversary event will be next May 6, so fans are hoping that these announcements will come true.

In the case of Xbox, the saga has been present mostly with spin-offs such as the Persona titles and the recent Soul Hackers 2. Previously, the franchise had a presence with Shin Megami Tensei: Nine, but the main franchise as such has been absent from their consoles for years.
