For months, there have been reports suggesting that Konami's Metal Gear Solid franchise will return with a remake of its third main game. While awaiting an official announcement, a new report indicates that the highly anticipated project will be announced in a matter of days.
METAL GEAR SOLID 3 REMAKE COULD BE ANNOUNCED VERY SOON
According to renowned journalist Tom Henderson, who has a solid track record of accuracy, sources from the Insider Gaming indicate that the rumored Metal Gear Solid 3 Remake will be one of the big surprises at the upcoming PlayStation Showcase on May 24th.
At Sony's digital event, it is expected that the tactical espionage video game will make an appearance with an announcement teaser, so it seems that a trailer with gameplay will be absent.
According to Insider Gaming's sources, the Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater remake will be available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. These reports will excite a sector of the community. We should remember that, a few weeks ago, rumors emerged indicating that the project would be an exclusive for Sony's next-gen console, although another report suggested that the exclusivity would be timed.
Tom Henderson states in his article that he is unaware if PlayStation will have any type of exclusive benefit regarding marketing or DLC.
Finally, the journalist echoes rumors suggesting that the Castlevania franchise will return with a new project, although he indicates that he was unable to verify the alleged information.
It is important to note that, at the time of writing this article, Konami has not yet confirmed the existence of Metal Gear Solid 3 Remake. We recommend treating this information with caution and waiting for an official announcement.
But tell us, do you believe the game is real? Do you think it will come to Xbox and PC despite the rumors suggesting exclusivity with PlayStation? Let us know in the comments.
