Ahead of its time? Some think that Wii U was, and although it has been one of Nintendo's biggest failures, it laid the foundation for Switch's success. In the end, technological proposals serve as inspiration, and today the infamous console became a trend after an announcement from PlayStation.
PLAYSTATION PRESENTED PROJECT Q AND WII U STOLE THE SHOW
The PlayStation Showcase ended with important announcements, and one of them was the confirmation of Project Q, a portable device that works via streaming and will allow playing PlayStation 5 titles. Its design shows hardware composed of the modified DualSense controller and a high-definition screen. However, the fact that it works via streaming from the console immediately reminded people of the proposal that the Nintendo Wii U had in its time.

After the announcement, social media didn't hold back and compared Project Q to Wii U, considering that Sony is copying Nintendo and even worse, trying to sell this technology as something new. In fact, Jim Ryan's introductory speech referred to Project Q as an example of the innovation and technological bet of the Japanese company.
