Here's how to play Mortal Kombat 1 for free and legally before the official release

Through a post on the franchise's official account, the development team confirmed that it will conduct a stress test for Mortal Kombat 1 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. If you didn't know, these tests aim to test the servers to ensure that online modes work properly at the official launch.

"It’s time to test the might of our servers! Help us find issues now for a smooth launch in September. Sign up below to be considered. Dates TBD. This test prioritizes online 1v1 matches. A Warner Bros. Games account is required to participate," reads the announcement.

As mentioned in the statement, if you want to participate, you must register on the company's website, although that does not guarantee your place in the testing session. You will also need a Warner Bros. Games account. One good news is that this initiative is independent of the Beta, which is an exclusive bonus for those who pre-order Mortal Kombat 1.

The test will be available to players in North America, Latin America, Brazil, and Europe. It will not be necessary to have an active Xbox Live Gold or PlayStation Plus subscription to participate.
