It seems like it's not a good day to work in the marketing department of ATLUS West. We say this because the company accidentally leaked the Persona 3 remake and a new tactical spin-off of Persona 5.
On social media, ATLUS West shared a trailer for Persona 5 Tactica. In the preview, we can see that the new P-Studio project will introduce us to the protagonists of Persona 5 in a chibi style while they are in a mysterious palace.
What's interesting about Persona 5 Tactica is that it abandons the traditional Persona style and instead is a turn-based strategy RPG with elements reminiscent of Fire Emblem and XCOM. However, everything is done with the style and personality that have made Persona 5 one of the most recognized JRPGs in recent years.
The trailer reveals that Persona 5 Tactica will be available on November 17, 2023. The release is confirmed for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC. It will also arrive on Xbox Game Pass on its release day.
This announcement is expected to be made official at the Xbox presentation next Sunday. At the moment, it is unknown if Persona 5 Tactica and Persona 3 Reload will be exclusive to Xbox or if other platforms will be confirmed later.
