Undoubtedly, one of the main highlights of the Xbox Games Showcase over the weekend was Star Wars Outlaws, the new game from Massive Entertainment. At that time, it was confirmed that the first gameplay would be shown during this Monday's Ubisoft Forward. True to their word, in the livestream, we saw this open-world experience in action for the first time.
In this new video game based on the franchise created by George Lucas, we take on the role of Kay Bess, a thief played by actress Humberly Gonzalez. It's worth noting that the events take place between The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi.
As an open-world title, we can explore all kinds of planets and environments. Judging by the official trailer, we're looking at a third-person shooter where using cover correctly is vital. Of course, there are also sections of ship-to-ship combat.
It seems that this new title will be very focused on narrative, as small glimpses of Kay Bess' adventure were presented during the final moments of the trailer.

Unfortunately, Ubisoft and Massive have refrained from revealing the release date, so we only know that it will debut at some point in 2024 for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC.
But tell us, did this announcement excite you? Do you think this title will meet expectations? Let us know in the comments.
